A word of reassurance to Scheme members

You'll have seen reports recently about the turmoil in the economy. This is affecting many areas of the economy including interest rates, currency-exchange rates and UK pension scheme investment. We want to reassure our members that the ITV Pension Scheme hasn't been affected in the same way as other schemes. This is because the Trustee has adopted a low-risk investment strategy that can adapt to challenging times such as these by holding assets that can be bought and sold easily (this is known as 'liquidity'). We'd particularly like to reassure pensioners who are receiving a pension from the Scheme that pension payments won't be affected. The Trustee continues to monitor the situation closely with its advisers and the Company. We'll provide an update if there are any significant changes.
